Words, when well used, are medicine, shields, weapons, romances. Sparrow is obsessed with words - the syllables, the spelling, the rhymes, and most importantly: the wit. She will always be eager to share an odd vocabulary with others, or to tell a rather bad pun or two. She is particularly fascinated with names - Her parents, ornithologists, had named her based on their passion. The name gives strength to the person, in her opinion, and nicknames must be well-utilized if they are to be effective. Because no other child liked to call her Sparrow, the young lady picked "Birdie" up at a young age, and it carried with her.

Despite her affection towards literature and vocabulary, Sparrow is craftier with song and retort than she is with creative or practical writing. She becomes overwhelmed with the possibilities, and cannot bring herself to stay with a single topic or set one specific tone in her scripture.

Despite her fluency with words in itself, she becomes very frustrated with those who are illiterate or forsake free education. In South Africa, she attended university as an English major, and America's habits were... sorely disappointing.

Even with her judgmental habits based upon first impressions, she's a very bouncy, friendly personality and does not hesitate to approach.
