She works nightly at the Bella Noche and lives above the place in a modest and rather poor flat that she inherited from her "uncle" - a friend of her father's who took her under his wing after her parents were run out of town from their gambling debts. He raised her on and off the streets until he had properly renovated the Bella Noche, and she has run it since her death. She's not big on prostitution, but will engage in it herself - without involving any of her girls - if the need comes for money. As any street rat, current or not, she's used to sacrificing morals to survive. She hides herself behind many colors and outfits, and specifically, many facades. The biggest one being, of course, Joanie, the hostess of Bella Noche. She keeps her status on the floor, so to speak, and there are announcers and hosts that play the part of the owners as it is disgraceful for a woman to have any say in work, much less owning property or business. As a result, a friend of hers has taken up her uncle's name, as the deed to the Bella Noche is still written with his. the real Rosemary is whimsical, romantic, but bitter to the world and its cruelty. "Joanie" is more than used to the cutthroat world of business and isn't afraid to manipulate, but Rosemary is far more reserved and human, in a sense.

Her facades range, but overall she tends to be very bold, cheerful, and flirty on the outside, engaging to strangers, customers, and friends alike. She's rash, impulsive, daring, and seemingly unafraid. She will try everything at least twice and she's one to shoot first and ask questions later in most situations.
